See what I see? DEYEL is part journal, part blog, part PHP experiment. Deyel is constructed dynamically by one PHP script which searches for image directories and the images within them. (...and is a work in progress) The image above is a randomly selected image from all the galleries.
The blog and journal part arise from the nature of the images harvested from the server by the PHP coding. When out and about, I have started to more consciously take snapshots with my phone's camera. When I get back home I upload those photos to the plasticstare server and have deyel do the rest.
I had originally started an account on lomography.com, but it was too much of a pain to get the images from my phone and then upload them one by one to my lomography.com account, and I wanted to teach myself some more PHP coding, so I created deyel as my own personal lomographic repository. When deyel reaches a more finished state with the code cleaned up a bit, I plan to release it as shareware or postcardware on the site.
