This is an ongoing list of debris that I encounter on a daily basis. The criteria for making this list is that it has to be some thing or group of things that I see in inordinately large numbers, or in numbers that are startling for the surroundings. These are in no particular order.
- Candy wrappers (small, as in tootsie roll and candy bars)
- Snack food wrappers (larger, such as twinkies or those weird apple pie type things)
- Gum (chewed)
- Cigarette butts
- Spit (on the sidewalk)
- AA batteries (predominately from portable cd players)
- Magenta hair extensions
- Plastic drink bottles
- PIgeon droppings (mainly under structures such as foot bridges)
- A bullet (2006/06/01)
