Leaving the Mysterious World Behind

Farewell to futurist and generally odd fellow Arthur C. Clarke who died today at the age of 90. Also best known for “inventing” the telecommunications satellite and his novel 2001, the movie of which he collaborated with Stanley Kubrick, I knew him best in my youth for his television series named “Arthur C. Clarke’s Mysterious World” in which he showcased bizarre things everyweek. His ashes will be placed into a mysterious crystal skull and driven into space to the nearest alien inhabited world by a yeti…I hope.
